Paul Corley

Paul Corley is an American composer, producer, and sound artist who since 2007 been a member of the Icelandic music collective and record label Bedroom Community. The labels intimate roster also includes Nico Muhly, Ben Frost and Valgeir Sigurðsson.
In 2012 Corley released his debut solo album Disquiet for Bedroom Community and also composed his first score for the theatre: Hreinsun at the National Theatre of Iceland.
A constant collaborator, he has produced albums with Oneohtrix Point Never & Tim Hecker, numerous stage works and film scores with Ben Frost including the Palme d´Or nominated Sleeping Beauty, UK television show Fortitude, dance pieces with choreographers Wayne McGregor and Akram Khan and the music-theatre adaptation of the Iain Banks novel The Wasp Factory.
He became the Music Director for Sigur Rós live shows in 2016 and through the success of this collaboration began developing new material with the band for their forthcoming eighth studio album. Concurrently, he has been working with composer Jóhann Jóhansson (Sicario, Arrival, Theory of Everything) on several film projects due out in late 2017/18.
