Reimagining Valgeir Sigurðsson’s The County soundtrack
After releasing his soundtrack for The County, Grímur Hákonarson’s most recent film, Valgeir Sigurðsson revisited the material sourced for the score which was then reinterpreted by Paul Corley, Francesco Fabris and Dylan Henner.
The County // Reworks is a Bandcamp exclusive
The County had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section. The County is the follow-up to Grímur Hákonarson’s Festival de Cannes Award-winning debut Rams and stars actors Arndís Hrönn Egilsdóttir, Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson, as well as Þorsteinn Bachmann.
